Established in 2025, the Division of Digital Technology & Strategic Communication (DDTSC) is responsible for driving digital transformation and strengthening information technology capabilities at the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The Division develops, implements, and maintains secure digital platforms, enterprise applications, IT infrastructure, and strategic communication systems that support NCDC's public health programmes, disease surveillance, and institutional operations.
The Division plays a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of the official NCDC website, implementation of cybersecurity measures, management of digital services, network infrastructure, cloud and server coordination, and technical support for Government of India digital platforms. It also provides comprehensive IT support, video conferencing facilities, media infrastructure, and digital communication services to ensure seamless functioning across all divisions of NCDC.
In addition, the Division promotes innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies, secure digital governance practices, automation, and user-centric digital solutions. It works in close coordination with various divisions, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, National Informatics Centre (NIC), National Health Authority (NHA), and other stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and strengthen NCDC's digital ecosystem.

Development, maintenance, enhancement, and regular updating of the official NCDC website, ensuring high availability, accessibility, security, and compliance with Government of India standards.
Implementation of cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability assessment, security audit compliance, and continuous monitoring to safeguard NCDC web applications.
Planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, leased line connectivity, servers, and institutional IT resources to ensure uninterrupted digital services across NCDC.

Development and management of media infrastructure, conference facilities, official social media platforms, and digital communication systems for effective public health outreach.
Development and implementation of a centralized IT Help Desk Portal for online ticket management, service request tracking, and efficient IT service delivery.
Providing complete IT, networking, audio-visual, and technical support for national and international conferences, workshops, trainings, webinars, and official events organized by NCDC.
Promoting digital transformation through emerging technologies, automation, secure digital governance, and innovative IT solutions to improve operational efficiency and public health service delivery.
