Educational cum Orientation visit to NCDC, Delhi
General Instructions for Educational visits:
1. Visit Schedule: Either one day or multiple days (Individual requests will
be considered)
Schedule for organizing one day educational visit:
- For all Government and Private Nursing (BSc & MSc) and Homeopathic (BHMS) Students: Second Wednesday of every month
- For all other Government and Private undergraduate/postgraduate students like BSc Zoology, BSc Biotechnology, MSc Biotechnology etc.: Third Wednesday of every month
- For all Government and Private post graduate students (MD Community Medicine/CHA / Microbiology/ MPH /various Post Graduate Diploma courses in Health) and In-service Government officers like Defense/ Veterinary: Fourth Wednesday of every
month
Note: Visit shall be strictly organized as per the schedule above. If the corresponding Wednesday happens to be a holiday, the visit shall be organized on the next available working day
2. A minimum of twenty-five undergraduate students and ten post graduate students would be required for conducting an educational visit on each proposed corresponding visit day of the month.
3. No. of Students will be restricted to 50 per batch. However, if the number of students is more than 50, the students will be divided into two equal batches and visit will be conducted on two separate days.
4. The visit shall be arranged on first cum first served basis
5. Educational Visit Fees:
- For Private Colleges /Institutions (Students from Private Nursing College or Homeopathic/ Allopathic Medical College)
Depending upon no. of Students in the Batch- For Batch upto 25 students: Rs. 5,000/-per day
- For Batch upto 50 students: Rs. 10,000/-per day
- For Batch upto 75 students: Rs. 15,000/-per day
- For Batch upto 100 students: Rs.20,000/-per day
The visit fee has to be paid via demand draft payable at Delhi in favor of “Director NCDC Delhi”.
- For Government Colleges /Institutions including Undergraduate or Postgraduate students from Government Nursing College or Government Homeopathic/ Allopathic Medical Colleges/Government Degree Colleges In-service Government Medical/Veterinary Officers: No visit fees will be charged.
6. Formal Request letter for Educational cum Orientation visit to NCDC should be sent through the Head of the College/Institution and addressed to The Director, National Centre for Disease Control, 22-Shamnath Marg, Civil Lines, Delhi-110054. The request letter (along with original demand draft if applicable) should reach NCDC at least 3 weeks prior to the proposed date of visit (along with scanned copies through email at “dirnicd@nic.in”).
7. After receipt of request and original demand draft (if applicable), NCDC shall send an email confirming the visit. In case the desired visit slot is not available, an alternative slot shall be fixed as per mutual convenience.
8. Tea with light snacks shall be served to students in the morning and afternoon. However, lunch will have to be arranged by the institution/students themselves.
9. Institutions are requested to ensure that students reach NCDC before the stipulated time to ensure smooth and timely conduct of visit sessions.
